agrofarm@vdnh.ruOn November 26 the two-day VI International Agroindustrial Dairy Forum, held in Krasnogorsk, the Moscow Region opened to public. The Forum is organized by the Government of the Moscow Region with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, which provides an important and relevant agenda for the event, relevant to the AGROFARM exhibition: the expert community focuses on issues related not only to the dairy products market, but also to the business and industry on the whole.
More than 3.000 participants registered on the Forum the first day. A wide representation of business missions from different regions of Russia and foreign countries was evidence of great interest in the declared topics of the Forum.
In an open dialogue format the AGROFARM exhibition organizers and Andrei Razin, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region, discussed industry-specific issues that are planned to be presented at the AGROFARM exhibition in February 2020. A business conversation with Philippe Meunier, Vice President of the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Regional Council, Head of the delegation representing the international partner of the Forum, took place. It covered the issues of developing cooperation with associations of farmers and French companies specializing in milk processing and the production of equipment for the agro-industrial sector.
Within the framework of the Forum negotiations with major manufacturers of the Moscow region and the farming community were held, which resulted in agreements on joint activities at the AGROFARM-2020 exhibition. Companies participating in the Forum expressed great interest in the upcoming exhibition, especially since most of them are its regular exhibitors. They will represent the Moscow region at this major industry event at VDNH, confirming the thesis pointed at the Forum, that the dairy industry has to play the main role in providing competitive advantages for the region.
The experience of the Moscow region in applying the cluster method of creating production sites for public-private partnerships was presented at the Forum. Commissioning of the first cluster in cheese production gives the Moscow Region a chance to gain a significant share in the Russian cheese market and an increase in the export potential of the regional economy in the nearest future.
Successful cases provided by manufacturers of the Moscow Region will be of interest to the guests of AGROFARM-2020 from all regions of Russia. Besides, as part of the exhibition business program, a practical workshop will be held on the prospects of the dairy industry next year.
