We invite everyone who is interested in the topic of rural area development – experts, agricultural producers of all forms of property, representatives of academic community and business, students of specialized universities – to take part in the First Research-to-Practice Conference ‘THE RUSSIAN VILLAGE: Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow’ that will take place on February 4, 2020.
The State Program of the Russian Federation on Complex Development of Rural Areas has come into force since January 1, 2020. It took much time and efforts to prepare the program that involved efforts of many agencies, legislators, specialized institutes and public organizations.
Will a new program be effective though? What expectations do federal executive bodies that supervise the program, rural area organs of governance, administrations of rural settlements and residents of these settlements have? How will the program be implemented in Russian regions in practice?
Guests from all across the country will answer these and other questions in the framework of the First Research-to-Practice Conference ‘THE RUSSIAN VILLAGE: Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow’ that symbolically marks the start of year 2020.
The main goal of the Conference will be to discuss the rural area development strategy as a driver of establishing a high-performance, export-oriented agroindustrial complex in Russia, as well as to discuss challenges and develop relevant solutions following the results of implementation of the State Program on Complex Development of Rural Areas in practice. Annually participants will be able to share both positive and negative results they get in the process of the state program’s implementation and, of course, discuss possible ways to solve them.
