AGROFARM 2020: A Business Tour to JSC ‘Moskovskoye on Breeding Work’

We invite specialists of the industry to take part in a business tour to JSC ‘Moskovskoye on Breeding Work’, a leading Russian enterprise in field of large cattle genetics, which is to take place on February 6, 2020, in the framework of the AGROFARM 2020 International Exhibition of Animal Husbandry and Animal Breeding.

The topic of the tour is Genetic Resources of JSC ‘Moskovskoye on Breeding Work’.

During the tour participants will see notable servicing bulls. Also, it will be brought into sharp focus of visitors what is special about organizing inspections and evaluations of bulls by breed quality in the context of the Moscow Region, and how these events have already influenced the quality of cattle at farms outside Moscow.

The program of the tour provides for introduction to the history of establishment and its development, work of the Mosplemelita Selection and Reproduction Center, and a visit to all the divisions.

About the enterprise:
JSC ‘Moskovskoye on Breeding Work’ will have worked for 63 years in May 2020. It is the largest producer and supplier of semen by dairy breed servicing bulls in the country. Over a year the enterprise sells 1.3 mln doses of semen, or 13.8% of the total amount bought from our country.
In 2018, JSC ‘Moskovskoye on Breeding Work’ started producing and supplying embryos, as well as cow calves and bull calves with certain genetic capabilities that are typical for breeding animals in countries with well-developed dairy cattle breeding, to consumers. It’s an actual step to execution of the state program on imports phase-out.
