On February 5, 2020, within the framework of AGROFARM 2020 International Exhibition, a round table discussion on Practical Aspects of Ensuring Veterinary Well-Being of Cattle and Small Ruminants will be held, which will be moderated by Alexander Vladimirovich Kononov, Head of the Department of Diagnostics and Prevention of Farm Animals Diseases, FSBI All-Russian Research Institute for Animal Health.
The health of farm animals is one of the most relevant concerns not only for livestock breeders, but also for veterinary services. When widely spread, infectious livestock diseases can produce a negative effect on the national economy of states and, as a result, can pose a threat to food security.
Within the framework of round table discussions leading experts will discuss the epizootic situation in areas of animal husbandry for the nearest future, current disease control trends and strategies, and also ways of preventing and controlling the spread of infectious animal diseases.

- The current situation regarding the spread of the most dangerous and economically significant infectious animal diseases in the world and in Russia. Forecast for epizootics in the short term period.
- Modern solutions regarding control of animal diseases (cattle), methods of disease control, monitoring, preventive immunization and diagnostics.
