Alexey Nemeryuk: The “AGROFARM-2020” exhibition at VDNH will give a new impetus to business cooperation in the agrarian industry

Alexey Nemeryuk, Minister of Moscow Government, the first Deputy Chief of Administration of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department of Trade and Services of the city of Moscow, made a welcoming address to participants of “AGROFARM-2020”, the 14th International Exhibition of Stock Breeding and Technologies for Livestock Products Production and Processing, which took place at VDNH.

The Minister called the “AGROFARM” exhibition held at VDNH one of highlight professional events in the agrarian business, the center of business activity in the field of agro-industrial complex, attracting Russian and foreign representatives of the expert, scientific and business community. According to him, development of breeding will take the country's agriculture to a new level and ensure growth of livestock production in compliance with high quality standards while minimizing material and labor costs.

“This year, “AGROFARM” will open new opportunities for the development of domestic industry organizations, while residents and guests of our city will be able to try high-quality farm products and visit a large-scale exhibition of the breeding farm animals,” Alexey Nemeryuk commented. He noted that our capital is an attractive and promising market for agricultural products and food, and stressed that dynamic development of infrastructure and agricultural logistics, inter-regional cooperation in the food sector allows to successfully deal with the challenges of ensuring the food security of the multi-million metropolis.

Alexey Nemeryuk expressed confidence that the exhibition would give a new impetus to business cooperation in the agricultural sector and will have a positive impact on the development of the industry. “I wish successful work, meeting new business partners, further development and prosperity to all participants, guests and organizers!,” the Minister concluded.
